Lauren Spierer is the 20-year old missing IU student from Bloomington, Indiana. She's been missing since the early-morning hours of June 3rd 2011. During the beginning of the investigation into her disappearance, surveillance footage was released of a suspicious white pickup truck seen in the vicinity of the young woman's last known whereabouts.
Shortly after the surveillance footage was released to the public, Bloomington police retracted the urgency of this truck and claimed to have spoken with the owner who was "cleared of any suspicion." I never paid full attention to this truck since it's importance only lasted for what seemed like just days. I didn't have a chance to speculate on the truck other than the possibility that it could be connected to the disappearance of Lauren Spierer. Alas, I should've paid more attention.
This morning, 10/08/2011, I received a disturbing email from someone who has been studying the images since Lauren's disappearance. The person, who is anonymous by the name of nothing other than "Eagle Eye" used his (or her) photo enhancing talents to draw emphasis to an area in the back end of the white pickup truck. On the surface this "Eagle Eye" didn't seem on the up-and-up to me, but I decided to do some studying for myself and well, I hate to admit it, but I think Lauren Spierer was definitely in that mysterious white pickup that was suddenly cleared of involvement. Am I a little behind? Yes, but the Bloomington Police Department are more behind if these enhanced photos are accurately depicting a human figure in the truck.
Study the above image of the white pickup truck and surveillance footage of Lauren Spierer on the last night she was seen. As you can clearly see, the back passenger side of the bed of the truck is empty in one of the frames. Within 15 to 20 minutes later, the very same part of the truck contains a mass of white and black that looks like a kind of blob in small, undefined photos. Look below for more images of this mysterious white truck and pay attention to the angles and the "object" in the back end.
A "rendition" style photo from Websleuths shows that this could be a woman sitting with her back against the back window of the truck with her knees drawn. Click here to view it.
However, some images on this page, sent to me by "Eagle Eye" are disturbing to me. Upon viewing them, I instantly felt a tight-feeling in my chest -- anxiety over these images. They are crudely done, but when you zoom in on the above images, it's really easy to see where it does in fact look like Lauren Spierer is being abducted by someone in these very images. How could this have been overlooked unless Bloomington police know what this mass in the back of the truck really is. Keep in mind that that mass was not in the truck the entire time the truck was parked. This is what is most perplexing about the entire set of images. See below for the images :
Maybe these images are nothing more than tricks on the eyes, and I am just being an over imaginative writer. Nonetheless, I think these images are disturbing and the police need to get back on the ball about that white truck. Nothing has been found in Lauren Spierer's disappearance, not one thing. If this is really the only piece of information about her disappearance, it's a shame that it's being ignored.

Look at Israel Keyes. He flew into chicago on June 2nd drove to vermont. Bloomington Indiana is on the way. Did he stop into the area and find Lauren Sprierer?
A truck that looks just like this has been caught on video following Mickey Shunick on the route where she disappeared -

I had never seen these images before and it could definitely be a case of seeing what I want to see but there is something there. If this has ANY possible connection to that night in that area and even if it has been ruled out, it needs to be revisited. Cases don't solve themselves and rarely do the guilty come forth, do they ever?? I hope the family is voicing their concerns. No stone left unturned, right??
First, that is a four-seat truck, which means that technically, you could get six people in it, in the front and back seats. If you had a body, you'd put it in the back seat, unless you were stupid enough to be driving around with a body in the bed of your truck, uncovered.
That doesn't eliminate the possibility that Lauren got voluntarily in the bed of the truck, but that's just odd. If the cab and backseat were full of other passengers, she'd be an odd choice of person to take the bed, because she was tiny enough that it's hard to imagine they couldn't squeeze her in somehow, and because it's against the law in Indiana for someone under 18 to ride in a truck bed. She was tiny enough, less than 100 lbs., that she could be mistaken for someone under 18, and cause a police officer to stop the truck. If someone needed to ride in the bed, from a group, they'd pick someone who would never be mistaken for under 18.
Anyway, that looks like a pretty wishful thinking enhancement. First, no, you cannot "clearly" see that the bed is empty when viewing the truck from an entirely different angle. There's enough warping, that it's useless to get out a ruler, but I'm pretty sure if you knew the actual dimensions of that type of truck, and that particular street, and set of windows, you'd realize that the visible portion of the bed in the middle frame is the empty corner in the other two frames.
As far as Lauren goes, the arms and legs look to be the wrong proportions. She had a long back and short legs, not unusually short arms, and freakishly long legs. She was wearing stretch pants, not a skirt, so that doesn't account for all that black.
This enhancement reminds me of all the people who have found shooters on the grassy knoll, some standing, some lying down, plus, about 12 other shooters around Dealey Plaza in other such enhanced photographs.
By any chance did you check the reflective glass behind the truck as it was passing the windows? They look like they would have had some sort of reflection if it was a person or anything sitting up.
I have a question for the person who did these photos...were you able to enhance anything from the reflective glass behind the truck. I would think you woul dbe able to see an image in those windows of it was a person. Just a thought.
This is the first time I've seen these photos and I think that they are showing something for sure. But the truck has a soft top shell over the back. Like this: http://www.etrailer.com/Tonneau... Maybe not that exact brand but something similar. You can see it reflecting in the side corner picture.
As for the figure of the girl, she isn't sitting against her knees. The close ups show her facing the side of the truck with her arms in an odd position. To me, she looks like she is trying to disntangle herself out of that soft roof (you can see it sort of crumpled around her) but I think there is a second person behind her that has his hand over her mouth and is attempting to subdue her and pull her back under it so that they do not draw attention. That is what I see. I thought I would share.
Holy crap that really looks like Lauren in the back... Very disturbing.
Actually, Idk who this Eagle eye person is, but I was the one who sent off these photos to Laurens parents and police. I have several enhanced photos. every photo I enhanced I printed and mailed them to the Spierer's. I never did find out if they thought it was Lauren. I was just told that the police would be informed of the photos. The Spierer's thanked me. Nothing more was said about it. I spent 3 weeks working on the photo enhancement. was up til 6am most mornings without sleep working on these photos. I still have the photos on my hard drive, saved in my files. To answer your question, there is a man who is taller than Lauren that is sitting with a blonde petite young girl. The man has a receeding hairline. Brown or dark hair, possibly redish-brown. I'm not sure of his age, but he has wavy hair, but its short.
I agree, you should let Lauren's parents of the PD know about this..... it does look like a person and I don't think that her parents have seen this.
there are just so many things that could do with Lauren disappearing. The back of the truck seems weird and even though the people in the truck passed the test, i think they should go more in depth about it, but on the other hand, there are also her friends that were with her that night that will not help the spierer's find her, which is very suspicious.
I definitely think this truck has something to do with the disappearance of Lauren Spierer. I do not understand why the driver of the truck has not been investigated along with his property in depth. Were dogs brought to his home to see if Lauren was there or had been in the truck?
It was sent to Bloomington PD several months ago -- obviously nothing has been done with the material.
Therefore, it's serving more of a use here as everyone will SEE what's going on while Bloomington remains close-mouthed on the situation.
I think you should let Police or Laurens family know about this... posting it on here, even if it is nothing, is no help. It does look like a person in the back of that truck to me as well...
wow this really looks like Lauren. The police really need to look into this. I have to admit, i never focused on the back of the truck because it was all a big Blur and I never saw it up close to even focus, but WOW this really looks like her they should take a light detector test on the people in the car. this could be the lead to something...
